The For Your Car guide

Can you drive a different car every month?

Yes, some car subscriptions let you drive a different car each month, but a monthly fee alone does not promise a monthly swap. Changes depend on the provider’s swap schedule, vehicle availability, appointments and contract terms. Read those terms before planning a rotation.

Swap round
A scheduled period when members can request a vehicle change under their subscription terms.

What makes a monthly change possible?

A provider needs a swap schedule, available cars and a way to hand them over. Check how choices are ranked, whether a swap costs extra and how much notice is needed. Keep a backup choice in mind.

Can you keep the same car?

That depends on the provider’s terms. Ask whether you may keep it for another round and whether the price or agreement changes. Do not treat the billing date as an automatic exchange appointment.

How our plan works

OneMonthStand is a monthly car subscription by class from For Your Car. The first cars are being set up now. Scheduled maintenance is part of the plan. In scheduled swap rounds, rank your top three cars from what is available in your class, then book a swap appointment. You can keep a car you love for another round.

Temporary class upgrades are part of the plan, such as a bigger car for a moving weekend. The price and details are confirmed by email. Insurance, mileage allowance, deposit, minimum term and who you hand the car back to are confirmed by email before you sign.

A reservation is a request, not a contract or a payment. A person on Lucky’s team emails you when a car in your class is ready in your area, with the exact car, price and terms, before anything is signed.

Before you choose

Good questions. Straight answers.

Is insurance included?

That is confirmed by email before you sign, together with the exact car and price. Nothing is decided on this site.

How many miles can I drive?

Each class will have a mileage allowance. Yours is written into your offer and confirmed by email before you sign.

Who maintains the car?

Scheduled maintenance is part of the plan. Exactly what is covered is written into your agreement and confirmed by email before you sign.

How does swapping work?

In each swap round you rank your top three cars from what is available in your class, then book a swap appointment. If you love the car you have, keep it another round.

Do I pay anything to reserve?

No. No payment is taken on this site. Reserving tells us your class, area and start month so we can email you when a car is ready.
